Community Housing Build

Currently we have the shipping containers in place on concrete piers, the vertical angle iron posts welded to the containers, and the floor joists spanning across the containers which is the floor of the house.

Over the summer of 2021 we had 8 work-traders come and help us get the first phases of the build in place. Now we are generating income to hire skilled workers to help us complete all the foundational aspects of the build such as the roof, radiant flooring, strawbale wall in-fill, and the exterior and interior clay, sand, and lime plaster.

After many attempts trying to place the 16-20’ long beams by hand on ladders…we decided to be safe and use our grapple truck to lift the beams in place for welding.
