Sierra Foothills Basket Weavers Guild
The long-standing traditions between people and their environment are an inspiration for the long term vision at Cedar Springs Preserve.
This Guild aims to preserve, promote, and perpetuate multicultural basketweaving traditions while providing an educational, social, spiritual, and economic environment for basket weavers.
We gather every month to learn new techniques and basket designs along with scheduling seasonal harvests throughout the year that are local and sustainable.
